As a member of our Sales Team, you'll be the master of your own ship, navigating the seas of communication and relationship-building with the prowess of a true explorer. Your toolkit will include extraordinary negotiation skills, a solutions-driven attitude, and a dash of charisma. This is your chance to embark on a remote adventure, with some required weekends and holidays thrown in for good measure.Our ideal candidate lives in the Courtney/Campbell River region and is willing to travel in the surrounding regions.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uncovering hidden gems by sourcing and securing new accounts and nurturing existing relationships, all in the pursuit of profitable sales growth.
  • Creating harmonious connections with customers, helping them uncover their perfect product mix and ensuring smiles all around.
  • Keeping the Sales Team in the loop with the juiciest market intel – pricing, supply, quality, trends, and more – harvested from your interactions with customers and your adventurous business development activities.
  • Playing the hero by entering sales orders and tackling any troubleshooting that comes your way.
  • Collaborating with fellow islanders from different departments and units to ensure we're all navigating in the same direction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in the Food service, Retail or Hospitality industries, because we’re looking for seasoned explorers.
  • University or College business degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Basic computer literacy in MS Office 365.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a vibrant sales team.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract (Drivers N abstract & personal insurance discount).
  • Ideal candidate lives in the sales territory.
